„The Cave Hydra is much like its standard cousin but prefers the deep dark depths of damp caves. It large eyes allow it to see in the pitch black where it waits for unsuspecting prey to wander into its lair trying to escape the hot sun. The cave hydra has a thin mucous layer covering its body that is poisonous and gives it a slimy texture. It’s front limbs have large angled claws that are primarily for digging burrows though if you get hit by one it won’t be pretty. Of coarse like all hydra it has powerful regenerative abilities. It heals at an incredible speed and if it looses a limb it will regrow in minutes. If you can sever all its heads it will kill it but be careful as it can regrow two for every one you remove if you don’t act quickly. The best way to deal with them is fire. Fire dampens their regenerative abilities as well as blinds it.“
